Welcome to the Jackson County WV 9-1-1 Communications Center located in Ripley, WV. Our mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life for every citizen in Jackson County by processing emergency calls to save lives, protect and reduce property losses and preserve our environment; thereby dispatching law enforcement agencies, fire departments and emergency medical service units in an efficient, courteous and professional manner creating a safer county to live, work and visit.


Our Communications Center is manned 24/7/365 by a minimum of two professional telecommunicators on twelve hour shifts.


Our website contains information pertaining to various events that take place at our center.  The information includes: (a) call volume on a monthly basis; (b) county ordinances on Flood Plain Permits and Addressing and Mapping; (c) Jackson County, WV Circuit Court Warrant List; ; and (d) a sign up section for the WARN System, as well as other information.
